Companies spend millions of dollars on designing their logo. They hire the best creatives and graphic designers to be found on the market. These then hold meetings and propose solutions to each other, so that the client is satisfied in the end. The choice usually narrows to 10 proposals, from which, together with the client, they pick the perfect logo for the company. It often happens that even that logo is broken down to the smallest details until they arrive at the complete solution that will represent a company or brand.
For the logos you are about to see, either not much time and thought went into them or they were designed by idiots... See what I mean:

Joking aside, a logo directly represents your brand. Invest time and money in a proper design for your logo, so that you do not find it on funny pages like this one :)
